Lip Blush
kiss dull lips goodbyeWhat Is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo that gives your lips a little more colour, shape and definition without making them look overdone.
It’s perfect if your lips feel a little washed out, the border has faded, your colour is uneven, or you just want to look a bit more alive on the days you’re not wearing makeup.
It doesn’t add volume like filler does, but the right colour placement can make your lips look more balanced, defined and even a little fuller.
And if you already have filler? Lip Blush can be the missing piece. Filler gives you the shape and volume, while Lip Blush brings back the colour and definition.
Lip Blush might be your thing if...
✔ You've had lip filler but still feel like your lips need something
✔ Your lips have lost colour over time and don't look as vibrant as they once did
✔ You feel like one side of your lips always looks different to the other
✔ You spend more time drawing your lips on than you'd like to admit
✔ You want fuller-looking lips but don't necessarily want more filler
✔ You wish you could wake up looking a little more put together without doing a thing
The Frmd Way
Beautiful lips start long before the tattoo machine comes out. Every appointment begins with a detailed consultation where we'll chat through your goals, your makeup routine and how you want your lips to look on an average Tuesday, not just on your best day. From there, we'll customise everything. Shape, border definition, colour and style to create a result that feels like you. Personalised enhancements designed to make your mornings easier and your confidence higher. With over 20 premium pigments, a calm private studio, meticulous hygiene practices and a deluxe aftercare pack, every detail has been considered to give you the best possible experience.
Important Note
If you have a history of cold sores, you’ll need antiviral medication prescribed by your doctor. This is taken for 3 days before your appointment and continued after your treatment to protect your lip blush results and prevent a breakout.
What To Expect
Appointment Time: 3 hours
Healing: 5–8 days
Final Results: Around 4 weeks
Touch Up: Recommended 6–8 weeks later
Immediately after your appointment your lips may appear brighter and slightly swollen. As they heal, the colour will soften significantly before revealing the final healed result.
Style Breakdown
No two lips are the same, which is why every Lip Blush treatment is customised to suit your features, lifestyle and makeup preferences. Whether you love a barely-there tint or never leave the house without liner, there's a style to suit you.
Blush Lip
The soft girl.
Designed to mimic the look of naturally healthy, hydrated lips, Blush Lip focuses on restoring colour without creating obvious definition. The colour is softly implanted throughout the lips to create a fresh, youthful appearance while still looking incredibly natural.
This style is perfect if you rarely wear makeup, want to correct uneven colour, or simply want your lips to look a little more alive without anyone knowing you've had anything done.
Best for: Natural makeup lovers, pale lips, colour correction and first-time clients.
Ombre Lip
The crowd favourite.
Ombre Lip creates a soft gradient effect by concentrating more colour around the border and outer areas of the lips while keeping the centre softer and lighter. This technique creates the illusion of more shape, dimension and fullness while still maintaining a natural finish.
It's the perfect middle ground between a subtle tint and a lipstick look, making it one of the most versatile and popular Lip Blush styles.
Best for: Clients wanting more definition, fuller-looking lips and a result that still feels natural.
Lip Liner Effect
For the girls whose lips disappear without liner.
This style focuses on restoring and enhancing the border of the lips to create a more defined shape. Colour is concentrated around the outer edge before being softly blended into the lip, creating the appearance of structure and symmetry without the harsh look of traditional lip liner tattoos.
It's ideal for clients who naturally have a weak lip border, have lost definition over time, or spend every morning reaching for a lip pencil before they leave the house.
Best for: Lip filler clients, faded lip borders, asymmetry and anyone who loves the look of lip liner.
Not sure which style is right for you?
Don't stress. Most clients don't know exactly what they want when they book. We'll discuss your goals during your consultation and create a customised plan that suits your lips, features and lifestyle. Often, the final result is a blend of multiple techniques rather than one style alone.

Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing cream is applied throughout your appointment, and many clients feel so relaxed they often drift off. Bring your headphones to listen to something calming and help ease any nerves.

Your lips may appear brighter for the first few days before gently softening as they heal. Mild dryness and flaking is normal during the first 3–5 days, with the final, healed results visible around 4 weeks.

Yes. Lip Blush can help redefine faded borders that sometimes occur after filler. While it can be done either way, I generally recommend having filler first, then waiting 4 weeks before adding colour for the most natural, balanced result.
