Lip Blush
kiss dull lips goodbye
What Is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a modern tattoo technique that softly infuses colour through the lips to enhance tone, shape and balance. It improves fading lip borders, boosts your natural definition, and heals with a refined, sheer tint never flat, harsh or overly filled in.
The FRMD Approach
Expert consultation to design and map your ideal lip shape
Premium pigments, fully mixable for your perfect custom shade
A calming, luxe studio atmosphere with soft, curated vibes designed to help you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive.
Immaculate hygiene standards
A deluxe aftercare pack with everything you need for smooth healing
Honest, expert guidance, every shade and style is talked through with care so you feel informed, supported, and confident in your choice.
Dark Lip Neutralisation
For clients with naturally dark, cool or uneven lip tones, neutralisation can be performed to create a brighter, more even base. This ensures your final colour heals soft, balanced and true to tone.
Why Clients Choose Lip Blush
Wake up with soft colour and natural definition every day
Enhances symmetry and subtly boosts fullness
Reduces the need for daily liner, tint or lipstick
Custom shades designed to suit your complexion and lifestyle
Results typically last 18–36 months with proper aftercare
Is Lip Blush Right for You?
Lip Blush may be a beautiful option if you:
Prefer a low-maintenance, natural finish
Want more shape, colour or balance in your lips
Have experienced fading lip borders from filler
Want a long-lasting tint that won’t smudge or transfer
Would like to correct dark, cool or uneven pigment
Most clients are suitable; however, if you’ve ever had a cold sore (herpes simplex), please read the note below.
Important Note
If you have a history of cold sores, you’ll need antiviral medication prescribed by your doctor. This is taken for 3 days before your appointment and continued after your treatment to protect your lip blush results and prevent a breakout.
What to Expect
Treatment Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation, facial mapping, shade selection and the full tattoo procedure. You’ll leave with personalised aftercare to protect your fresh colour and support healing.
Perfection Visit: 4–8 weeks later
Lip Blush is a two-step process. Your follow-up visit perfects symmetry and restores any areas that healed lighter, ensuring your results stay even, soft and refined for years.
-
Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing cream is applied throughout your appointment, and many clients feel so relaxed they often drift off. Bring your headphones to listen to something calming and help ease any nerves.
-
Your lips may appear brighter for the first few days before gently softening as they heal. Mild dryness and flaking is normal during the first 3–5 days, with the final, healed results visible around 4 weeks.
-
Yes. Lip Blush can help redefine faded borders that sometimes occur after filler. While it can be done either way, I generally recommend having filler first, then waiting 4 weeks before adding colour for the most natural, balanced result.
